​In 2022, during a period of self-doubt, I visited a live jazz session and remembered how, as a schoolboy, I used to draw - fast and furiously

 

The musicians were perfect: in motion, but staying put; at one with their instruments; and, best of all, oblivious to me

Since then, I've done thousands of tiny sketches, some of which I work up into prints or  film

​

Above all, I see the energy .  .  .
